Following our TEST of PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS, we thought it would be welcome to share some tips with those who come or will embark on the Battle Royale of Bluehole. Of course, this is not a holy word and if you already have many hours on the clock, you are already familiar with what we are going to talk about. But for others, the new players lost in the middle of an ocean of survivors having the rage to defeat (and not quick to make concessions) it is better to do everything to avoid frustration.
If PUBG is a very easy-to-access game and very understandable in its mechanics, it is sometimes very difficult to master it and some tricks can clearly if not save your life, at least allow you over time to get closer to the Top 10.
1. The drop zone
Choosing the drop zone, literally the area in which you will land by parachute is surely one of the most important components to your survival. While some prefer to jump into an area with high potential for dangerous encounters to have immediate action, others prefer to maximize their chances of survival. For this reason you are strongly advised (at first anyway) to aim first at the somewhat isolated blocks, farms and small warehouses. And it doesn't matter what the map is. Because you will have time to equip yourself without having a sword of Damocles that progresses on your neck to the rhythm of seconds. If a big city can offer you a lot of loot, it can also be a real cut-throat.
2. I believe I can fly...
Even once in the air it's clearly not too late to save your skin if you see a swarm of players who had the same idea as you. Your parachute trajectory (before opening) is very easily modified using the front/rear keys (Z/S on PC) and depending on the axis of your camera, it is also possible to accelerate or not its fall. So your character's pointer is very important because it will speed up his descent, think about it.
3. Don't make a mouthful
Equipment is your first priority once on the ground. In addition to the weapons that are essential to the smooth running of your game, you will also have to find something to protect you. The game offers 3 levels of armor for helmets and bullet vests but also for backpacks that allow to carry more equipment. In the first few minutes, it's best to take anything you can get your hands on, because even the simplest of pistols can save your life. Do not make the fine mouth because it is better to evolve its armament over time.
4. "What about the understudy? What kind? - Tactics..."
That is where the big question arises. What weapon or weapon combo should I take? Because if at the beginning the simple pistol or uzi does the trick, we will have to be more demanding and turn to something more robust ... and accurate! The 5.56 caliber is then a must in assault rifle under its various variants. M16A4, M416 and Scar L and other rarer ones like the AuG Steyr. The Scar L is the most versatile assault rifle so it's the choice to make if you hesitate with an M16A4. The order of quality is therefore the following M416 > Scar L > M16A4. A good combo to do is one of the above weapons in main weapon and a secondary weapon AKM. With a higher firepower thanks to its 7.62 caliber, it will be a better short-range weapon. A mini 14 semi-automatic rifle is also a good compromise to replace the 5.56 caliber assault rifle.

After that there are still a host of possibilities that follow the same essential logic: own a weapon for close combat and a weapon for the medium-long distance.

No weapon is versatile enough to cover any type of confrontation, so you have to ruse. Thus a machine gun can be a good idea to replace the AKM because its very high rate of fire can compensate for its low power.
5. Accessories for a weapon as valuable as jewellery
Very customizable, we can only advise you to add a silencer to the weapons as soon as possible or a flame cover if you have nothing else on hand. Because in nature, besides the noise, the light that your cannon will emit is the best indicator of your position for the enemy.

Always add a handle and a large magazine if possible regardless of the weapon.
6. Be on the lookout for the slightest sound
In PUBG the sound is particularly important and it is worked in such a way that it is at the service of gameplay. The slightest of your movements can emit a crack on a floor and have you spotted by a player on the floor below yours. So you should always analyze the distance of noises, that of cars, that of gunshots to estimate a more or less exact distance before you leave your cover.
7. Camping is not a shame
If there is one game where camping is not shameful, it is PUBG. When you are in the lens area, hiding in a building can be life-saving. Once in the building, never go headlong in case a player is already there. And the absolute inviolable rule: ALWAYS REFERMER THE PORTES DERRIÈRE SOI. Because in addition to giving the impression to the enemy that the building is still full of loot and thus pushing him to take risks, it also allows you to offer you a few precious seconds in case of a hasty escape. A door that opens is a noise that is heard and therefore an indicator of presence, and therefore a preparation on your part in accordance with the situation.
8. The deletion shot works, use it
Suppression is the intense firing towards the enemy, not to try to reach him, but simply to force him to take cover. During this time it is possible for our teammates to change positions, and this also saves the group time. In the worst case it allows you to escape in a situation that is too tense. Obviously it has no use when you play alone.
9. Semi-automatic? Rafale or automatic?
It's all about distance, but be aware that in most cases with assault rifles, automatic shooting is useless at more than 10 meters. You should then prefer the mid-range burst shot or even simply the semi-automatic shot which in addition to saving you cartridges will have a better chance of hitting the goal. Automatic mode is really only useful in a fight inside a building.
10. The stove can become your best friend
What good is a frying pan in the middle of the rest of the arsenal? It serves to protect your back, because when it is hooked, it allows you to deflect some shots and thus simply secure part of your back. On top of that it is the best weapon of hand-to-hand play. Never deprive yourself of it, NEVER!
